Eastbay is most unusual in that we employ two distinctly different hull forms within our range of yachts – the traditional Deep V and the ultra-contemporary V-Warp®. Each plays a significant, albeit different, role in our modernisation of this category-defining brand.

Designed by our team of leading naval architects, the V-Warp’s underwater geometry was informed by the NASA and American Navy databases and then further developed by our CEO’s experience as an ocean racing champion. The warped, semi-displacement form reduces drag while adding the buoyancy, stability and lift that allows the boat to reach plane speed with minimal energy and effort.
Further enhanced by the lightness of our materials and the rigidity of our construction techniques, the V-Warp® is the fastest, most stable and most fuel-efficient hull on any motor yacht today.
The warped, semi-displacement form of the V-Warp® hull leaves a flat, even wake that attests to its hydrodynamic efficiency.
The characteristic ‘soft ride’ can be attributed to a build process that fuses all bulkheads, fixed furniture, deck and superstructure to the hull. (This rigid ‘torsion box’ won’t rattle or creak!)
All large mass components are balanced vertically and transversally to ensure a perfect balance and low centre of gravity that creates stability and comfort in all conditions.

The C. Raymond Hunt Deep-V hull is a much revered classic that we have refined and modernised by employing the very latest materials and construction techniques.
Careful repositioning of large mass components has achieved exceptional balance through her longitudinal center of gravity and the ’44 reaches a top speed of 33 knots while cruising very comfortably at 23.
Her broad beam creates extraordinary living and storage space for a boat of this size.
